CAGE MATCH SEMI-FINALS - ROUND #7!

VICTORIA – Put on your walking shoes and come out to witness the cross-border creativity take to the ring… it’s CAGE MATCH time!

May 3rd at the Victoria Event Centre is the last of the Cage Match SEMI-FINAL rounds! We put two semi-finalist teams of improvisers in the ring to duke it out for audience votes and see who tips the scale and moves on to the championship match vs. Storytellers (Vancouver)!

“This match is not to be missed” says Media Liaison, Michelle Chowns. “It’s going to be a tough decision for our audience. We’ve whittled the teams down to the very best, these players have got game!”

Audiences will be the determining factor in teams’ advancement, and audience stacking, bribing, and begging will be common occurrences.

Come have your say on Thursday May 3rd and decide who goes on to face last year’s champions Storytellers!

Before the competition kicks off, the Impromaniacs will bring you short scenes and theatre games.

When: One night only! – Thursday May 3rd @ 8:00 pm
How much: $10/ $8 for students/seniors

Tickets will be available at the door (cash only), or in advance from Lyle's Place (770 Yates Street - also cash only).

April 19th at the Victoria Event Centre is the second match of the Cage Match SEMI-FINAL rounds! We put two semi-finalist teams of improvisers in the ring to duke it out for audience votes and see who tips the scale and moves on and who goes home.

Our March winners, AKA Improv and Vancouver TheatreSports League jump into the ring to defend their winnings! The decision from this round determines who goes onto the May 3rd round!

“It just keeps getting better and better as we move towards the May 17th showdown” says Managing Director, Jonathan Argue. “May the sun smile on both teams!”
